Rotary Essay Contest
RMMS will host the Deming Chapter Rotary Club's Annual Essay Contest on Saturday, February 20. Starting at 9:00 a.m. students will compose an essay to answer the following question:
"How Can Applying the 4-WayTest In My Life Now Influence My Future?"

Spanish Spelling Bee
Tuesday, February, 9 students will compete in the Spanish Spelling Bee.
Competition will be held in room 315.

After school tutoring is available with several of our teachers and in the library. Please see the office staff for more information if your student is struggling. We want to give every student every opportunity to experience success!
Open Gym
is our newest addition to the after school programs.
Students must have a signed parent permission slip to attend. Open gym will be held Monday-Thursday, 3:45-5:30. Contact Coach B. Sandoval for more information 546-0668 x 2371

Enrichment Class Field Trip
Enrichment students will be travelling to Phoenix on February 17th and 18th to see the Renaissance Festival. The trip also includes a visit to the ostrich farm and monster trucks. Students must pay a $20 deposit to reserve a spot; total trip cost will be $110.00 and must be paid by February 12th.

Need a great Wildcat way to stay warm? Red Mountain can take care of you! Beautiful woven throws with all Wildcat sports represented are now available. Not only will you stay warm, but you will be helping to send our students on their upcoming trip to Boston. See Mrs. Pottorff, Mrs. Laney or any of our enrichment students to purchase yours today. Blankets cost $50.00 each.

Note that the H1N1 vaccine is NOT available through Deming Public Schools yet, we are awaiting the vaccines. We do not know when the vaccine will be available, but permission slips will be sent home when we are prepared to administer that.
Students must have a SIGNED parent permission slip to receive any immunization administered at school.
